Endocrinology in Special Populations

Endocrine disorders affect individuals differently based on age, gender, and other unique factors. This track will focus on the specific needs of pediatric, geriatric, and pregnant populations in managing endocrine and metabolic disorders. Experts will explore the unique challenges faced in diagnosing and treating endocrine diseases in these populations, such as congenital thyroid disorders in children or gestational diabetes in pregnancy.

The session will also address gender-specific approaches in the management of conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and menopause. The aim is to enhance clinical care by tailoring interventions to meet the specific physiological, psychological, and social needs of diverse groups, ensuring optimal outcomes for all patients.
